GCAA Ethics

ETHICS POLICY

As an organization GCAA will strive to avoid conflict of interest and to provide opportunities for all its members in a just and equitable manner. As members of GCAA we have an obligation to act honestly, fairly and with integrity in all our dealings with our fellow members as well as the community at large. Actual or apparent conflicts of interest in our relationships must be appropriately handled. To this end, all members shall forward in writing any grievance to the Board appointed Ethics Officer. The Ethics Officer must communicate to the President that a claim is under investigation, and working with the President investigate, and seek to correct the matter, or take the concern to the Board for further investigation, should it be deemed necessary. The President must cooperate fully, but not impede in any way, the investigation. All investigative actions must be carried out in an impartial manner.
